After the substantial drop in sales with 50′s release of Curtis in 2007 and the frequent delays of his next disc Before I Self Destruct people are wondering “Has 50 Cent already self destructed?”. In an effort to give himself buzz again he has released a new mixtape entitled War Angel Lp. Although a mixtape 50 crafts the disc in album fashion. The opening track I Line Niggas shows 50 returning to his braggadocio gangsta rap style with lines like “I wipe out where your nanna stay my man blew your man away/ did’em dirty and ran away Who’s the next candidate to get hit with the cannon ay”. Other gems on the tape include Redrum (Murder), C.R.E.A.M. ’09, AND Cocaine ft. Robin Thicke. 50 of course drops a little something for the ladies with “I’ll Do Anything” where he comically states “You like girls? i like girls too we got something in common”. With the lady tracks kept to only 2 tracks, an impeccable beat selection, and 50′s return hardcore gangsta rap this tape shows that perhaps 50 is headed in a different direction for his next effort.
